Terms & Conditions of Sale

  1. Upon receipt of your order, a confirmation email will automatically be sent.
  2. This is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that the order has been accepted by us, nor that a contract exists between us.
  3. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.
  4. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, that we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason, or for any other error and omission.
  5. In the case of any variation between your order and our intended supply, we will try to contact you in the first instance in order to discuss how to proceed.
  6. From time to time products may vary or change.
  7. We endeavour to maintain as accurate picture and written information as possible on our website.
  8. There may be occasions where we have new products that have replaced older stock shown on our website.
  9. All colours are reproduced as accurately as possible but please remember that the actual colour may vary from what you see on screen.
  10. Any weights, sizes and dimensions are intended as a guide only.
  11. All prices are quoted in GBP unless otherwise stated.
  12. All prices are exclusive of VAT at the current rate.
  13. Not all products are stock items, some are manufactured to order.
  14. We cannot guarantee all items offered are always in stock at any quantity.
  15. If your item is not in stock, we will contact you to discuss how to proceed.
  16. Orders are never part despatched and always sent complete.
  17. If you choose to request that your order is part despatched, carriage for each part will be applied.
  18. We process your order upon receipt, and we will normally despatch your order on the day of receipt before 1530 local time, or try to contact you to discuss how to proceed before 1630 local time.
  19. Where the order is confirmed by us and payment is received by 1530, delivery to most of the mainland UK is expected, but not guaranteed, for the next business day by noon,

  21. Delivery to remaining UK locations including highlands & islands may be expected, but not guaranteed, on the best available service offered by our contracted carrier to that geographic location. Contact us for further information.
  22. 'DPD Next business day by noon' service to mainland UK destinations is charged at a rate of GBP9.50. Surcharges may apply for Highlands & Islands, and next business day delivery may not always be possible to these destinations. Contact us for further information.
  23. We can offer, but do not recommend, upgraded services such as pre-1030 or Saturday at extra cost, where requested in writing and confirmed by us. Contact us for further information.
  24. We do not offer a same day carrier service.
  25. Orders may be collected from our premises where requested in writing and confirmed by us, at no extra cost.
  26. ROI & other EU despatches are despatched on our contracted service for each geographic location, which may be 1-2 days, or 3-5 days. Contact us for further information.
  27. ROI & other EU despatches are charged at our contracted rate for each geographic location, which indicatively may be between GBP20 - GBP50. Contact us for further information.
  28. We cannot be held responsible for the timeliness of these services, which is not guaranteed.
  29. Please ensure that we have all delivery instructions, including contact name and telephone number, and that someone will be at the delivery address to receive and sign for the goods.
  30. Tracking details are included on the invoice to allow for progress tracking and proof of delivery for the customer.
  31. Proof of delivery details are available for 28 days from delivery, any requests after this time may result in information being unavailable.
  32. F K Moore Ltd hold no responsibility for these details being unavailable after 28 days , and the customer still maintains full liability for the debt.
  33. The contracted carrier will endevour to leave a calling card, but is not always possible.
  34. In this event, the recipient is responsible for contacting the carrier immediately to re-arrange delivery or otherwise the goods will be returned to us within a few days at extra cost to the customer.
  35. Please look at the parcel for any obvious signs of damage before you sign for it.
  36. You are entitled to place a comment next to your signature, e.g. 'damaged' or 'unexamined', indeed if you wish you are entitled to ask the carrier to wait whilst you unpack an item that looks as if might be damaged.
  37. It is your responsibility to contact us regarding any shortages or packing errors within 3 days of receipt of goods. You must check all items are exactly as ordered upon receipt.
  38. We offer a full refund on lost or damaged items, and will refund after a successful claim with the carrier.
  39. We may resend lost or damaged items, which will be chargeable at the same rates,
  40. We cannot accept any consequential costs other than that of return postage.
  41. All goods are subject to an exchange or refund if unsuitable in any way, with the exception of special order or bespoke items.
  42. Returns must be confirmed to us in writing within 3 days of delivery.
  43. Refunds or exchanges are only offered for goods if returned in original unused condition, and incur a 10% handling fee.
  44. No refund can be given on the original delivery charges or on special order items.
  45. We guarantee your satisfaction. In addition, consumers (excludes commercial transactions) from the European Union are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
